These procedures apply to all accounts on the platform.

Tier System

Logos Coaches pioneers an innovate model to ensure our coaches are successful teachers–not just successful competitors. Coaches move up in the tier system in two ways: competitive accomplishments, and coaching accomplishments.

1. Competitive Accomplishments:

• Gold Tier: For top-3 finishers at National Opens or Championships. Smaller mixers do not count for this category.

• Silver Tier: National Finalists & Consistent Semifinalists. Smaller National mixers are acceptable to ensure consistency for this category.

• Bronze Tier: Consistent Regional Finalists & Semifinalists.

2. Coaching Achievements

• Gold Tier: 45 positive (5-star) reviews submitted after achieving Silver. Subject to review by the Logos Office.

• Silver: 30 positive (5-star) reviews submitted after achieving Bronze. Subject to review by the Logos Office.

All coaches (including the bronze tier) are required to have at least qualified to the highest level of competition in their event (I.e. national championship) as an entry-level accomplishment.

Code of Conduct

This charter outlines the responsibilities of coaches and students participating in Logos. It exists to establish shared expectations, protect the learning environment, and preserve the integrity of instruction.

Logos is committed to clarity of thought, disciplined reasoning, and ethical communication. All participants are expected to uphold these standards.

Responsibilities of Logos Coaches

1. Instructional Integrity

Coaches are responsible for providing honest, prepared, and intellectually serious instruction.

  • Instruction should be focused on skill development, reasoning, communication, and mastery of subject matter.

  • Coaches must accurately represent their experience, credentials, and areas of competence.

  • Coaches should teach within the rules, norms, and ethical expectations of the relevant leagues or disciplines.

  • Coaches should be clear about what they can and cannot provide and avoid guaranteeing outcomes.

2. Professional Conduct

Coaching through Logos is a professional educational relationship.

  • Coaches must maintain appropriate boundaries with students at all times.

  • Communication should remain respectful, appropriate, and related to instruction.

  • Coaches should foster an environment of intellectual charity, even in disagreement.

  • Personal, ideological, or competitive rivalries should never interfere with instruction.

3. Reliability and Communication

Coaches are expected to be reliable and communicative.

  • Coaches should honor scheduled sessions and provide reasonable notice if rescheduling is necessary.

  • Clear and timely communication is expected regarding availability, expectations, and follow-up.

  • Coaches should respect students’ time and preparation by arriving ready and engaged.

4. Modeling the Logos Standard

Coaches serve as models of intellectual and personal discipline.

  • Coaches should exemplify clarity of thought, careful argumentation, and respect for truth.

  • Coaches should encourage independent thinking rather than dependence on authority.

  • Instruction should aim at long-term growth, not short-term performance alone.

Responsibilities of Logos Students

Students are responsible for approaching coaching seriously.

  • Students should come prepared, having completed agreed-upon work or review.

  • Students should respect the coach’s time and preparation.

A Shared Commitment

Logos functions best when coaches and students share a commitment to seriousness, integrity, and mutual respect.

This charter is not a list of punishments. It is a statement of standards. Participation in Logos assumes a good-faith effort to uphold them.

Account Discontinuation and Removal

Logos Coaches reserves the right to suspend or discontinue any coach account for its own reasons.

Except in cases involving immediate safety concerns, this will never occur without:

  • A written list of reasons,

  • Documented evidence and identifiable sources,

  • Formal notice provided at least 30 days prior to termination.

During this period, the coach may submit explanations, rebuttals, or character references for consideration.

Allegations of Serious Misconduct

Allegations involving sexual misconduct or illegal activity must be reported immediately to logoscoaches@gmail.com.

Reports must be made within 30 days of the alleged incident. Allegations submitted after that period will not be considered.

For a coach to be permanently banned due to serious misconduct:

  • At least three reports must be submitted by separate individuals.

  • At least one report must include written, audio, or video evidence.

  • Reports may be cumulative over time. There is no expiration once filed.

Logos Coaches will never ban a coach without:

  • Notifying the coach of the allegation,

  • Requesting a response or explanation,

  • Allowing at least 14 business days for a reply.

Character references and contextual explanations may be submitted during this period.

The burden of proof rests with the reporting party. Logos Coaches is committed to protecting coaches from false accusations, coordinated complaints, and bad-faith reporting.

If a ban is issued, any active subscriptions will not be refunded.

Attendance and No-Show Policy

Reliability is essential to coaching.

If a coach records three or more no-shows within a single calendar month, the coach’s account may be temporarily suspended. Suspension may be lifted once communication is restored and a plan is established to prevent recurrence.

Students are required to notify the Office at logoscoaches@gmail.com if a coach fails to attend a scheduled session without notice.

Repeated no-shows over multiple months may result in longer suspensions or removal from the platform.

Student Conduct

Students are expected to engage respectfully and honestly with coaches.

False reporting, harassment, or attempts to coerce refunds or outcomes through bad-faith complaints may result in restrictions or removal from the platform.

Refunds

Logos Coaches does not implicitly or explicitly ensure refunds for any service or product. As a new organization, we do not yet have the infrastructure to enforce refunds on a broad basis. Although we do expect to have a more flexible model in the future, this feature is not offered at the present.
