John Gardner is a former NCFCA Region 8 (15/16) competitor. At Hillsdale College, he debates for the school’s extremely successful varsity team. John is passionate about helping kids make the most of a tournament experience, both in and between competition rounds. He has found that there are several levels to the learning curve in debate, and the best way to improve is to learn from someone who has succeeded.

Most of John’s coaching experience has been helping advanced competitors, but he also enjoys teaching younger debaters both personally and in groups. Reach out to John if you’re a parent/club leader looking for group sessions or a competitor who wants to compete consistently at the highest level.
